I was referred to Tom by an architect buddy of mine. I needed to have an arborist look at the trees in the greenbelt behind my house. (I was worried they were going to fall onto my house, but the city said I couldn’t have them removed unless they were deemed unhealthy.) Tom did a thorough analysis of not only the trees in question but the forest around them, and concluded a few trees did in fact have some rot in the trunks. The city accepted his report, and I had a few trees removed. I’ll call him again the second I have any other tree issues.
I worked with Tom on the revegetation of a critical slope on my property. I was impressed with not only Tom’s knowledge of slope stabilizing plantings, but his ability to work with government officials and home owners like me to come up with the most effective and economical solutions.
Tom took my project through design, permitting, planting, and monitoring. After two years my plantings are growing great and the slope looks better than it ever has. Tom has also helped me on other pruning projects and tree issues. His expertise has been valuable and working with him has always been enjoyable. I highly recommend Tom for any of your arborist needs.
Prompt response, honest appraisal, professional report. Tom did a great job helping me get a reasonable value for some trees being removed from my yard to make room for power poles. He was a pleasure to work with.
Tom Boyce and his wife Cathy have worked with us for many years on projects at our home and at our rental properties. He knows all about the different plants and how to treat them. He knows how to place them for eye-appeal. I wanted a tree planted in memory of my sister and I wanted it to bloom in June and he came up with the perfect one. We have recommended him many times. They are not only professional but nice to have around.
Tom Boyce is a consummate professional; knowledgeable, reliable, hard-working and a pleasure to be around. We have worked with him on several projects. Most notably, he helped us plant a Natural Growth Protection Area to the specifications of Snohomish County as required in our building permit process. We recommend him without reservation.
